Tennis Elbow

Tennis Elbow is pain that is along the lateral aspect of the elbow, and is also known as lateral epicondylitis. It can result from a sports injury, repetitive motion, overuse, or insidious (unknown cause). Common symptoms include pain and tenderness along the outside of the elbow, weakness in grip strength, and sometimes a burning sensation along the elbow.


Most individuals experiencing elbow pain may recover within a few weeks. However, some individuals find the pain and weakness does not improve even after stopping activities that aggravate the symptoms. Many of our patients that suffer from elbow pain have found that regular acupuncture treatments is effective in pain management and speeding up the recovery process.
