Report an injury

If you’ve been injured at work, it is important that you report your injury to your employer and WCB as quickly as possible. If you require treatment that is beyond first aid and you’ve missed work, it is your right to report a workplace injury. You can submit your workplace injury report online at www.wcb.ab.ca

Claims process

Once you’ve reported your injury to your employer and WCB, WCB will review your claim. The review of the claim includes decisions on your benefits and status of your claim. A case manager may be assigned to your claim.

Your initial visit to our clinic

You will be required to complete a health history intake form prior to your visit to the clinic. During your initial visit, your practitioner will complete an examination and a comprehensive report outlining your injuries and limitations will be sent to WCB. Once your claim is authorized by WCB, your practitioner will inform you of how many treatments are approved. We will directly bill WCB on your behalf.
