Clinic owner, Doctor of Acupuncture, Reiki Practitioner
Sarena Armsworthy, Dr. Ac, CRA-RP
I have been in practice as an Acupuncturist since 2013 and I am registered with the College of Acupuncturists of Alberta (CAA). I was always drawn to health and medicine and spent 4 years in health sciences in college and university prior to studying Acupuncture.
During the course of my education I was fortunate to have gained experience in the fields of audiology, diet and health management, family medicine, otolaryngology and physical therapy. These experiences formed my appreciation for both Western and Oriental medicine. I strongly believe that the integration of both Western and Eastern medicine is essential in disease prevention, healing and health maintenance.
In 2020, after a long search, I found my Reiki teacher, Marianne Goetsch. I started my Reiki training and completed the Shoden and Chuden level training in Usui Shiki Reiki Ryoho and Komyo ReikiDo. I describe my treatment style as assisted meditation, focusing on helping the patient reach a level of relaxation. I hope to achieve my Shinpiden level training in the coming years.

Each of my treatments focuses on providing my patients with a thorough, individualized treatment plan in a variety of conditions. I apply and combine values learned through my numerous years of study in both Western Medical Sciences and Traditional Chinese Medicine. I strive to empower all my patients to live their best and healthiest lives.
